
Quality you can hear. The signature snap of an Upperi chip comes from mastering the balance of moisture and rice bran oil temperature — an oil chosen precisely because of its stability at high frying temperatures. If it does not crack with every bite, it is not Upperi.
Rice Bran Oil: The Frying Standard
We fry all five Upperi SKUs in rice bran oil — a deliberate choice. With a smoke point of approximately 254 degrees Celsius, rice bran oil is one of the most stable oils available for high-temperature frying. It produces a lighter crunch, a cleaner flavour, and a chip that does not taste heavy after a handful.
You will find rice bran oil clearly listed first on every Upperi ingredient label. No palm oil is used in any Upperi product.

Freshness Locked: Nitrogen-Flushed Sealing
We believe the crunch you hear when you open a pack should be as fresh as the moment it left the fryer. We use nitrogen-flushing technology during packaging to displace oxygen, extending freshness and preserving the crunch without preservatives.

Quality Controlled: Precision & Hygiene
Quality is not an accident. Our production follows a multi-step quality control process at the manufacturing facility. Every batch is inspected for consistency before dispatch. The Upperi founding team conducted a physical inspection of the facility before the first production run.
